This is a pretty 16 inch Tiny Tears doll made by American Character.  She has the pretty blue rock-a-bye eyes with long full lashes and the highly sought after durable vinyl body.  She is appropriately marked on the back of her neck with the patent numbers 2675644.

  I could not find any marks, chews, stains or bites on this Tiny Tears baby doll body.  Tiny Tears face has darkened some over the years.  However, I understand this is normal for dolls of this age.  She has the tear ducts, holes in nostrils and the sweetest rosebud open nurser mouth.  I could not find any missing plugs in her hair.  Blush has been added because she did not have any when I purchased her. I love her chubby little cheeks.  She has the dimples on her fingers, hands and toes.  What a sweet baby doll!  When her little tummy is pressed, baby still cries!

Tiny Tears comes with the most darling aqua dress with white flocked flowers.  A cute little rosette with ribbons sits on the back.  She has a matching bonnet, wears white cotton panties and white booties.  She brings her "baby", a Ty beanie baby.

Tiny Tears was a highly sought after collectable doll in the 1950's.  This Tiny Tears was made circa 1959-1961.  She was known as the doll that not only could drink and wet but also cried real tears.    Even today, Tiny Tears brings back those sweet special memories we had as children.
