This is a gorgeous 20 Inch Rubber Molded Hair Tiny Tears. She was made from approximately from 1950-1955. She has pretty blue eyes that are shaded by dark upper lashes. Looks like a few lashes on her left eye tend to not lay down even with the others. She has painted under lashes and well defined brows. There is a small amount of pink under her left eye. I have not tried to remove it because it is not noticeable.

She has rosey chubby cheeks with no rubs. Her brown molded hair has some rubs but they are not bad and barely visible.

Tiny Tears was made by American Character and is appropriately marked on the back of her neck with the patent number 2675644. Her rubber body is gorgeous with just the slightest amount of very light crazing. She has all fingers and toes. Her arms and legs fit in the sockets and are not loose. Her body is still soft and pliable. Tiny Tears still cries when her little tummy is pressed.

Tiny Tears comes with two original outfits. Her original pink dress, matching bonnet and I believe the panties are original, too. The panties have faded over the years. She comes with her original Tiny Tears romper. I could only find one pin size hole in her dress. Otherwise, there are no rips, stains or tears in her clothes. All buttons are attached and secure.

She has oil cloth shoes with ties. One shoe has been repaired as it was splitting in the back.

Tiny Tears comes with an American Character pink and white box. I am not sure the box belongs to this doll but I purchased this Tiny Tears from another seller and it came with it. She does fit very nicely in it. The bottom part of the box looks fine but the lid has seen better days. Part of it is torn and missing a small portion (see pics).

What I love about this baby doll is that in my opinion while not mint, she is in excellent condition. I love her chubby rosey cheeks and pretty blue eyes. When I look at this baby it is like looking at a real baby. This sweet Tiny Tears doll has the look and feel of a newborn. She is a heavy baby doll.

Tiny Tears was known as the doll could cry real tears and is a drink and wet baby doll. She would delight any doll collector. What joy it must have been years ago to receive this baby. She has been well taken care of over the years. I believe you will be thrilled with this baby doll.
