This is a gorgeous 16 inch Tiny Tears doll by American Character with the patent number 2675644.

She was made circa 1959 - 1961. She is a drink and wet baby doll and is known as the doll that could cry real tears.

This Tiny Tears has soft honey brown saran hair rooted in a skull cap, pretty blue eyes, with full dark lush lashes, original blush with no rubs and a pretty pink nurser mouth. There are no rubs on her eyelids as is common with most dolls from this era. She has a beautiful face and her clothes just seem to add to this precious Tiny Tears!

This Tiny Tears doll has a beautiful vinyl body with no stains, chews or bites. Her long lasting vinyl body should last you many years to come. She has the wetting hole in back as all American Character Tiny Tears dolls have. She is a good baby doll and no longer cries. Rock this Tiny Tears to sleep from side to side and her eyes will slowly begin to close. Bring her upright and her eyes will open.

Tiny comes with a gorgeous baby pink with tiny sparkles throughout. It is trimmed with white lace and bows. She has a matching cap and rumba panties. The outfit is precious on Tiny.

She has a beautiful white organdy dress trimmed with pink and green flowers and a pink bow in back. She has been given a new white slip to wear with this dress. She has pretty pink booties to wear with both her outfits.

Tiny Tears comes with her original romper. It is still nice without tears or rips.

This baby doll is gorgeous and adorable. She is a lovely doll of our past and is a wonderful example of our history. She brings back those sweet moments. She was popular in the 50's and is still much loved today.
