This is a darling little Ginny doll by Vogue. Her red hair is full and curls in a flip. It is very pretty and soft. She has redish brown painted lashes and brows. They have not turned green or yellow as is typical of some of these dolls.

This Vogue Ginny doll has high cheek color and pretty red lips. Her red hair is stunning with her blue eyes. The eyes seem to be stuck in the open position. The pictures show a few strands of hair on her face. They are not cracks.  They make her look precious - just like a real little girl!

She was made for one year only in 1954 and is marked on her back: "Ginny/Vogue Dolls/Inc./Pat Pend/Made in U.S.A."

Ginny's body is a nice even color. There are no splits or cracks. Her arms are just a little loose but she will still hold a pose. I found a minute rub on her chin that is not noticeable unless you look closely. She is a walker. When you move her legs, her head will move side to side.

Ginny wears a gorgeous 1954 yellow and black knit outfit with a Ginny pattern top jersey, Rain or Shine Number 130. I don't see a tag. The yellow top is written in black "Ginny, Ginny, Ginny.... The skirt has inset shorts. She wears a matching cap. This outfit looks absolutely adorable on Ginny and is striking with her pretty red hair! The top closes in the back with a hook and eye and skirt with inset shorts has elastic that fits snug. I see no rips, stains or tears.

Ginny wears white orlon socks and white Ginny marked shoes. They read: "Ginny/Made in USA"
