This is an adorable Vogue Ginny doll. She was made in 1953. She is marked on her back "Vogue Doll". Ginny is being sold for you "to dress". What fun to dress this little Ginny doll!

She has beautiful facial coloring with rosy cheeks, a cute little red mouth and reddish brown lashes and brows. They have not faded or turned over the years as so many of these dolls have. Her eyes are a pretty shade of blue. Her eyes open and close without any help. There no rubs on the lids.

I am not sure if her wig has been replaced but I do feel what I believe is old glue between the braids. It is barely noticeable but wanted to mention it. Her pretty red hair could be rebraided if desired. Her hair does not appear to have been cut. I am unsure if the ribbons are original.

Her body coloring is even and beautiful. There are no cracks or splits. Her arms are a little loose She is about 8 inches in height.

She is a stunning and gorgeous doll. What a lovely collectable Ginny to represent our past!
