This is a beautiful Cinderella Shirley Temple vinyl doll.  She is marked on the back of her neck "Ideal Doll/ St-15-N".  She was made in 1961.  She is from the Storybook Series.   Ideal created the series using their 15" vinyl Shirley Temple mold.  There were four Shirley Temple dolls from the Storybook series and Cinderella is one of them.

Shirley Temple has beautiful golden hair with rooted curly ringlets. I could not find any missing plugs.  It is soft to touch.  Looks like she still has her original barret.

This Shirley Temple doll has pretty hazel sleep eyes with dark lush real lashes, high cheek color and dimpled cheeks.  There are no rubs on the eye lids. She has pearly white teeth and a red mouth.  Looks like one leg is a tad longer but it is my understanding they were made this way. Her vinyl body is clean with no stains.  She has all fingers and toes.

The gown is not tagged.  I am not sure if it is original.  The bodice may have pulled away from the waist and been repaired at one time.  If so, it still looks very nice.  The bodice is made of red velvet.  There is a white lace trim around the neck and sleeves.  The skirt is made of beautiful white lace with a red ribbon trim.  It is lined with a white soft silk-like fabric and net.  It closes in the back with two clear snaps.  I could not find any rips, tears or stains.  The gown looks very nice on Shirley.

Shirley Temple has white orlon socks and original white shoes.  The bottom of the shoes are marked "Ideal Toy Corp".  She wears white cotton panties.  She is missing her tiara but wears a reproduction Shirley Temple Script pin.
